PM Private Office, Hong Kong

In a city densely populated with small environments, Studio Liu wanted to challenge the conventions of a tiny office space not only aesthetically, but in a way that addresses the trials of a global pandemic in Hong Kong. Hand gouged timber and exotic stones were mixed in with specialist Axolotl finishes and silk carpets to create an opulent interior for one-on-one meetings, while a feature fireplace promotes fireside discussions. All in all, the project is a luxuriously considered safe haven, a backdrop of calm and respite, and a place to take pause away from the manic foot traffic of Hong Kong Island.
