Factor Design

Ian Factor began his creative career in architecture, but a deep passion for design and furniture saw Ian graduate from the prestigious Sturt School for Wood in 2006. The next year he founded Factor Design. The practice specialises in designing and creating contemporary, hand-crafted furniture. The unique, heirloom-quality pieces are made to order or in limited production runs. Factor primarily uses certified sustainable timber and timber-based products. Factor Design has been showcased in various design magazines, shortlisted for several awards and exhibited in various fine furniture exhibitions.
