Melbourne street and laneway art and culture influenced the detailing and design decisions for this project. The office was to feel unique and local. An open-plan layout and extensive use of ‘hot desking’, meaning no one has their own desk, were used to reduce space requirements and increase mobility while still allowing for collaboration. The creation of a more transient office with a ‘work anywhere’ feel is seen as a breakthrough in the way the firm works; it is fun, dynamic, young and contemporary.
