Butter Stool

Butter Stool began, like many other DesignByThem products, as an experiment with re-contextualising a new material. It is created from 100 percent post-consumer recycled content, derived almost entirely from recycled milk containers. The product is made from a single piece of material, which folds together and can be hand assembled. All fastening details are concealed, to create a simple and playful form. The stackable stool can be used inside and outside, and is also available as a two- or three-seater bench.
