Timber Shaving Vessels

Timber Shaving Vessels are an exercise in upcycling – objects that change the perceived value of timber offcuts. Inspired by the manufacturing techniques of the Akari lamps and the papier-mâché process, timber shavings are transformed into vessels using a homemade organic adhesive and found objects acting as moulds.
