Hawthorn house

The approach to this house was to balance the architectural imperative to re-present a sprawling, visually heterogenous house as a cohesive, integrated whole against the Heritage imperative of maintaining the legibility of the various iterations of the house. Kennedy Nolan’s work is just the latest in an extensive and diverse range of architectural assaults visited upon this grand old dame.
