Ivanhoe house

Built into a heavily treed hill, the house is designed as a treehouse, cantilevering into the treetops. The design is split into two wings, folding away from one another to draw in northern light. Beautifully resolved, the material palette of timber, black and emerald intensifies the feeling of immersion in the landscape.
