Drawing parallels between diving deep to retrieve pearls and descending underground into the project’s spaces (executive offices, pearl grading and pearl inspection rooms), the design leverages materiality and detailing – deep rich tones that heighten the feeling of being submerged in these extraordinary historic spaces.
