Meryl Hare

Meryl Hare was born in South Africa, raised in Zambia and Swaziland and immigrated to Australia in 1988, when she formed Hare + Klein Interior Design in Sydney. She has 34 years experience in interior design, both residential and hospitality, has been president of SIDA (Society of Interior Designers of Australia) from 1996 to 1998 and was the inaugural president of SIDAF (a position she has held on a number of occasions since). In 2011 she was inducted to the Design Institute of Australia’s Hall of Fame and is a fellow of the DIA.
