Numerous big gestures were made to give an existing restaurant within a hotel its own standalone presence as part of a mission to attract a larger local customer base. A bar built at a new, dedicated entrance is embellished with antique brass screened cabinetry – adding an element of theatre. Another decadent detail is a large island kitchen built under a leather-clad ceiling, which sports an illuminated onyx benchtop.
