Uchi Lounge

Melding two opposing design concepts under the same roof, Uchi Lounge is a narrow site accentuated by an eight-metre long concrete dining table. With walls painted in black and a long ribbon of seemingly unsupported lighting softly illuminating the interior, the overall effect is one of refined cool. The new circulation path from entry to dining table is enhanced by a wall of recycled bricks, which also acts as a discreet privacy screen.
