The renovation and extension of this Potts Point terraced house focuses on the grand spiralling staircase that forms a pivotal junction of the old and new parts of the house. Spacious living areas and private zones open out from each side of the staircase. In contrast to the mainly white extension, finishes in the old portion of the house are contemporary and elegant in a stripped classical style, though both areas feature the same white gloss floorboards.
