Playing on the many alter-egos of musician Muscles, the event design for his album launch tour starts small and ends big. The main feature is an oversized helmet with integrated lighting design and electronic controls shooting sequenced beams of light into the crowd. Inspired by Haus Rucker’s mind-expanding device, the design changes both the wearer’s and the audience’s perceptions of space. The helmet forms the centre of Muscles’s on-stage ‘micro-world’.
