The Doghouse

Inspired by a prohibition-era, speakeasy-style bar, this bold rooftop venue features concealed furniture and secretive alcohol dispensers. Fold-down tables emerge from the walls, while drink bottles are suspended from the roof by a counterweighted rope and pulley system. Designed and built in 24 days and open for just three weeks, the existing structure and furniture was adapted. Furniture was reupholstered, and the bar and walls clad in eco-ply to minimise waste.
