Teak and New Guinea rosewood, oversized bold prints and clean, simple lines pay tribute to a mid-century aesthetic in this riverfront apartment. A light architectural hand was adopted for the design, incorporating large areas of paneled walls, detailed timber ceiling features and designer lighting. Furnishings replicate the design framework, with minimal lines and an uncomplicated layout. A built-in dining area, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry and simple palette of hard finishes deliver a feeling of a space ‘left open’.
