Slater & Gordon

Gray Puksand’s design for the Slater + Gordon office reflects the core philosophy of the law firm: honesty. The design evolved without veneers, layers or extravagant finishes, with a restrained and consistent detailing that is appropriate to the space. Plywood bulkheads and terrazzo floors are combined with an off-form concrete feel to the surfaces of the walls, alluding to an industrial aesthetic. Timber and metal furniture in the breakout areas sit beside plywood slats that recall the bookcases that formerly characterised law firms in the past.
