Within the large architectural envelope, a sequence of spaces creates a sense of intimacy. A raised floor level delineates the entry atrium, with two joinery boxes cantilevering over the edge of the platform and forming a passageway in between. The kitchen seamlessly engages with the two boxes. A sculptural, finely detailed staircase increases the scale of the atrium light well, punctured by an organic pendant light. The overwhelming scale is broken down into manageable areas, yet the home remains cohesive.
