Outpost

Outpost café and retail coffee outlet has a casual, random and eclectic feel about it, yet the whole project has been highly orchestrated. The craftsmanship is tangible and the attention to detail can be seen in every custom-designed hinge and hook throughout the refined industrial aesthetic, which also has a somewhat laboratory feel. Materials include blackened steel and zinc, reclaimed timber and concrete tiles in olive greens and blacks (punctuated with an occasional upside down tile, bearing the textural ‘makers mark’). Outpost feels loved and cherished.
