The Lisa Ho boutique on Queen Street is conceived as an atelier. Clothes are displayed alongside a selection of objects, art, sculpture and antiques displayed in a collection of distinct spaces within the heritage listed Victorian terrace. Two artworks have influenced the design: the solid brass clothes rails mimic the pyramid forms in Sol Le Witt’s 1986 Two Pyramids-Four Colours, while the colour of the smoking green walls matches Andy Warhol’s Ladies and Gentlemen. Swimwear is displayed in the garden room, which overlooks a terrace. An alabaster and brass tea trolley, designed by Paul McCobb, displays the perfume and accessory collections, while jewelry boxes sit beside an Alvar Aalto bell lamp on a custom-made walnut and enamel bookcase. The evening and bridal collections are displayed in the more private salon at the back of the terrace.
