Geelong Mausoleum

The Geelong Mausoleum is a triangular space formed by three crypt blocks, the gaps between which provide daylight and views. The space is rich in colour and detail, bestowing a comforting and tranquil environment in which people can reflect and remember. Burial spaces are fitted with memorial vigil lamps of gold anodised aluminium and sandblasted glass that were designed by Harmer Architecture and manufactured in Melbourne. The coloured glass skylight forming an inverted pyramid and the plectrum-shaped purple and bone vinyl ottoman focal points are also Harmer designs.
