Following a gut renovation, a tranquil late 70s–style apartment interior was inserted. The master bedroom is accessed via a black lacquered corridor of robes, while the stainless steel galley kitchen is reached through a wall of pivoting mirror doors. The palette is deliberately monochrome and minimal – exclusively black and white – a foil to the vibrancy of the surrounding city. Floors are black japanned timber, walls and ceilings are white plaster and blinds are simple white louvres. Furniture is sparse, often leather, with several Asian antique pieces.
