BBC Worldwide’s new headquarters collocates two formerly separate offices in a large open plan environment peppered with working lounges and alternative activity-based working areas. The organisation believed elements of ‘fun’ should coexist with typical functional design aspects. The design driver was the celebration of the BBC Worldwide global brands. With significant environmental graphic backdrops, the outcome includes impressive front of house facilities, state-of-the-art media and AV facilities, quirky themed meeting rooms, numerous creative work and meeting hubs, all in a dynamic workplace environment capable of supporting the evolving organisation.
