What is the ‘big (IDEA)’ behind this project?
This design creates a flexible office that enables interaction and reflection in a holistic yet dynamic interior. Skirtings, fittings and joins between each plane are essentially removed by co-ordination of services, architectural detailing and a neutral colour palette. Impermanence is created, exemplified by the glass pods with sliding doors that are a permeable membrane between front and back of house, as well as a screen of suspended plantings. This organic thread continues in the breakout space with warm timber veneers a solid timber table.
