Shutter house

Shutter house is a unique new home situated in Wembley, Western Australia, overlooking picturesque Lake Monger (traditionally referred to as ‘Keiermulu’ by the Indigenous Noongar people). A timber batten ‘skin’, as an operable façade, creates a sense of enclosure and intimacy while also allowing unobstructed views across to the lake.
