Underpinning the project is a large geothermal field in the paddock. The geothermal trenches deliver temperature regulated water to the dwelling via a hydronic network in the slab. This system provides warm water in winter and cool water in summer, and is solar boosted when required. All rainwater is harvested in a 100,000-litre underground tank and waste is treated on-site.
