Retaining elements from the history of the building – terrazzo flooring, a massive riveted beam in the floor, the original mosaic tiled exit stairs and the original decorative plaster ceiling, which is seen through peep holes – the design knits historic and contemporary elements together with a boldly coloured reimagining of past glories.
