A common area and garden lighting are powered by rooftop solar panels and on-site rainwater harvesting provides irrigation as well as toilet-flushing throughout the project. Maximising passive climate control methods, all living spaces are north-facing, while concrete and masonry optimise thermal mass. Balcony and roof overhangs provide shading and operable external shutters mitigate solar penetration.
