Nan Tien Institute is Australia’s first government accredited tertiary institution founded in Buddhist values and wisdom. The design adopts the Buddhist symbol of the lotus flower, a pristine, beautiful bloom that arises from the mud, as a conceptual reference point for the design of the building.
