Taking its cue from the oenological (wine making) notion of terroir, the use of predominantly Australian materials became a central motif of the project. As such, Blackwood, metals, stone and leather have been used, while hand-blown glass spheres (a collaboration between PGMD and artist Emma-May Lashmar) echo the twinkling city lights in the distance.
