Incorporating a broad range of cultural references into one seamless arc of inclusion, ‘The Community Hall’ of Melbourne Now expanded the vocabulary of architectural expression to engage complex issues, such as the representation of a city’s culture and identity. Comprising a flexible multi-use space, the Hall presented a bold statement of egalitarianism.
