Cubo House

The project applies the surrealist technique of ‘Cubomania’ to catalogue, reuse and reinvent the demolished building materials, including original features, deemed ‘significant’ by the authorities, and those resilient (and potentially beautiful) elements that were added during the building’s subsequent life. For example, a beautiful existing stair was salvaged and upcycled to create a feature chandelier.
