Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery Redevelopment – Stage 1

Previously unused and unseen spaces have been opened to the public though the development of 12 new core exhibitions and enhanced public areas at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG). As part of a total re-think about visitor engagement and how stories are interpreted, the design approach undertaken treats exhibitions as new constructions. This protects the form and integrity of the original building, should exhibitions be removed.
