Prahran Hotel

Large stacked concrete pipes emblazon the street facade of this inner urban hotel’s rear addition. Their sculptural quality makes a fitting compliment to the venue’s streamlined art deco frontage. Internally, the pipes reference existing circular motifs and are visually suggestive of stacked kegs or barrels. 

The dramatic double height space features a steel and glazed central courtyard, which cuts through the interior, connecting and endowing both levels with natural light.
