Pony Brisbane

Indulging the senses on a number of levels and the theatrical staging of food preparation for the charcoal grill is the essence of this Brisbane restaurant experience. The design seeks to construct a sense of instant history in the space by drawing on a narrative built around the ‘farrier’ or blacksmith. A steel ribbon winding through the space implies metal that can be forged, capturing the poetics of production as a key part of the interior language.
