Manning Road

The renovation of this late Victorian-style house is testament to classic/functional design that co-exists with the old, while fulfilling a desire for open space and intimate narratives. The design unites the old and the new using natural materiality and minimalist design. Recycled blackbutt timber is a unifying element that extends from the old through to the newly designed rear space. Here, elements of concrete, veneer joinery and honed bluestone bring strength to the interior aesthetic.
