Lilyfield Warehouse

Awareness of the original building’s 1920s heritage and a sense of prior occupation as a candy and later furniture warehouse informed the adaptation of a rendered brick industrial building into a family home. The heart of the design is a central garden that allows the building to breathe. Present is the overarching idea that new work should be read as being different to the existing building, but be of a compatible material.
