Globe Cabin

Overcoming the challenge of presenting consumer products in a less consumerist mode, the Globe Cabin store design pays homage to the Arts and Crafts movement founded by Elbert Hubbard. Most telling is the use of simple timber detailing with thoughtful joins, polish and use of timber grains, which impart warmth and homeliness. Not so concerned about convincing customers to enter Globe Cabin, here the quest is to compel them to stay.
