ABU House

Two courtyards puncture the roofline separating the altered main building and new rear building of this warehouse conversion into a single residence. As a residence for an art collector, the plan is determined by its function. This required controlled light access, airflow and climate and culminated in a series of spaces interlocking the interior and exterior. For visitors, there is a sense of surprise as to where interior spaces start and end.
