VDM Chairs

Originally bespoke pieces manufactured for Vue de monde, these chairs make reference to the pre-European history of Melbourne. Fully fabricated in Melbourne using locally sourced Australian raw materials, Didier believes that utilising animals that natively belong to a region makes as much basic sense as constructing buildings with the natural materials from the earth beneath them. Kangaroo leathers and pelts are sourced from government-approved culls and the rest of the animal is utilised in other industries.
