UnWaste Bookcase

Playful and inventive, the UnWaste Bookcase transforms open-plan spaces into something else – it’s a joinery unit with a hidden agenda. The result is a James Bond-inspired full-wall rotating library made of reclaimed plywood as the principal material. Built initially for a warehouse conversion in Melbourne’s CBD, the bookcase enables the user to maintain the open space when appropriate but also to close it off visually and acoustically when needed.
