University of Melbourne Giblin Eunson Library

Reworking three levels within an existing building to reflect changes to the University of Melbourne’s educational model, HASSELL transformed this traditional teaching space into a combined library hub, providing modern facilities that focus on student learning with a strong emphasis on technology. The neighbouring site, University Square lawn, informed the timber and green palette of the library, and resilient flooring is used on wall surfaces to reinforce the singular graphic approach to the design.
