Transience of Light

Transience of Light was an installation designed for the front window of the Melbourne Euroluce showroom as part of the 2011 State of Design festival. Exploring how design can affect us mentally and physically, the project deals with the notion of transience and the fluidity of space and time. Through the precise arrangement of a field of hanging ping pong balls, the piece shifts and changes as passers-by move past the window – an illusion rendering the design different from each angle viewed.
