Searle x Waldron Architecture

Searle x Waldron Architecture is an emerging Melbourne design studio co-founded in 2008 by Nick Searle and Suzannah Waldron. The Art Gallery of Ballarat Annexe, featured in this year’s IDEA, is the first completed project from this young company. With a focus on uncovering constraints to generate creative and innovative outcomes, Searle x Waldron considers how even the smallest of projects can interact with the wider public realm. With an inclusive design approach, the practice places a strong emphasis on uncovering opportunities where specific constraints and conditions become openings for design differentiation and catalysts for creative and innovative outcomes.
