Rio Tinto Regional Centre

The ‘Earth to Sky’ design for Rio Tinto’s new Regional Centre in Brisbane provides a flexible, environmentally sustainable, safe and healthy workplace for its 1800 employees. Work floors are designed to have a collaborative centre, encouraging interaction between staff. An open and accessible lobby features a light installation designed to represent the ‘pulse’ of the building, glowing more brightly when the building is highly occupied – supporting transparency between the community and the company.
