Located in Melbourne’s QV Centre, this flagship store for Melissa shoes is an extravagant affair, with almost 300 white plastic spheres of ‘bubbles’ threaded onto tensioned cables, providing a whimsical obstacle for passers-by to peer through. The bubbles also serve as floating, cloud-like shelves, with shoes hanging from the structures with the help of bespoke fittings. LED lights allow for a rainbow of colours to wash over the space, creating a dream-like ambience.
