Inside/Outside House

This single-fronted Victorian terrace celebrates modern urban living in historical Fitzroy. Squished between neighbouring sites, the vibrant yet tranquil interior captures elements of space, light and air. The house is open planned, encouraging interactive movement, with the key design response being a central courtyard. The outside kitchen blurs inside/outside boundaries, while internal spaces can be made expansive or reduced by the use of large sliding doors.
