Willow Creek Vineyard

A distinctive timber and glass entry is wrapped in a steel mesh overlay, alluding to the rural setting and connecting disparate architectural forms with a consistent design language. On entry, a 10-metre-long bluestone plinth pierces the façade. The rustic, earthiness of oak and stone dominates the interior. Original ceiling beams are exposed, restored and stained black, and the ceiling relined in hessian. The bluestone flooring and bench add contemporary contrast. A glass-fronted barrel room offers glimpses into the workings of the winery.
