VENN

Housed in a century-old flourmill factory, this project now encompasses a shop, bar/café, two gallery spaces and four artist studios below ground level. Original features including a pressed tin ceiling, polished floorboards, wooden staircase and steel beams are combined with contemporary materials and finishes. Circular form is a key principle in building elements within the shop. A central café/bar space offers views of all parts of the building, while a stripped back, minimalist mezzanine office exudes confidence and professionalism.
