Tongue – IDEA 2020

A dilapidated heritage building has been upgraded with timber floors and refreshed brick walls and ceilings for ideas agency, Tongue. A quirky design spread over three floors provides contrasting environments to inspire staff. An English phone box at the entry leads to a headteacher-style reception desk, before a birdcage staircase leads to the enormous, completely white presentation room. Black timber floors and vintage furniture characterise the top floor, while the eccentric male bathrooms represent the inside of a cardboard box.
