Surry Hills Apartment

An existing warehouse loft is transformed into an inner-city escape with a functional and uncluttered interior that avoids the New York loft aesthetic. Exposed trusses and architraves are painted gloss black. A fun yet unobtrusive colour palette and furniture from Moooi and Phillippe Starck add memorable detail. Custom white satin cabinets contrast with the ebony macassar veneer of adjacent joinery and the gloss black centre island. The ensuite features a Marcel Wanders ‘wallpaper’ mosaic and smoked mirror walls.
